that ive posted! geez. not that anyone really reads it lol i remember last year when it was ALL the rage to have a blog lol it does NOT seem like a year ago!! anyways, since my last post, the house is coming along nicely :) Cory STILL needs a better job :/ please send one up to the big man for that! Wedding plans are coming along fine i do believe :) we have 76 days left till we tie the knot! :) :) yay!! so excited! im ready for the house to be completely finished & for us to start moving in & decorating! im super excited about our household showers too :) which will probably be sometime next month! tonight is Amanda Bridges & Dean Lewis's wedding! :D i am so stoked cause i KNOW its gonna be beautiful! It seriously just seems like it was just the other day that they got engaged & they're already getting married!! crazy stuff! makes me nervous cause i feel like ours will be here ANY second! there are 4 of us getting married at the Branch!! Amanda, then me, then my good friends Kesha Lipham & Blake Edwards! :) & KENDRA & SETH ARE GETTING MARRIED!!!! yes. i know. crazy! it makes me feel so old to know that im getting married & so is Kendra! before i know it, Hilary will be & so will Kayla! lol it just makes me realize that we are all really growing up :/ so crazy. i know its a part of life & all, but geez. its just so weird! i cant grasp the fact that ill be moving away from my home & going to a completely different church (which i am SO thankful for!!) & that ill actually have my own home & a hubby! :) and hopefully a few years from now the Lord will bless us with kids! (no i do NOT have baby fever!! when i say a few years i mean like 5!! lol so dont freak!) then ill REALLY feel old lol i mean, Becca already had a baby & he is growing SO fast! he's getting so chubby & i LOVE it :) :) he's starting to grin & make a whole lot of noises & kinda laugh :) Gracie & Mason are so big now :( its so hard to believe they're growing up!! Mason is playing T-ball! its so cute :) Gracie is talking SO much. lol this post is almost too depressing lol! anyways, just felt like letting you guys in on some stuff! :)

lots to update you guys on!
hello friends :) okay! i have TONS to update you all on that i did not mention in my last post. first of all! Happy February! the 1st was 4 months till Cory Lynn & I tie the knot!! & now we only have 115 days!!!! That may seem like a lot to you guys... but when you've been counting down for over a year... it's really not lol i know i mentioned in my latest post that Cory & I have a home!! we are currently working on it! :) the renovation is coming along nicely right now. a few small problems that can be fixed have came up, but that's about it! ANYWAYS!!! i totally for got to mention my GORGEOUS nephew Taylor!!!! :) :) :) :) he's a month old (yesterday!) :) :) ah! he's so sweet! he has SO much hair & his mom fixes it in a little mohawk ^-^ lol so cute! he is amazing! the only pics i have of him that are recent are on my phone, but i will try & get more than just the one of him in the hospital up ASAP! again, wedding is coming along nicely :) i picked my dress up & i am in love allllll over again! i dont remember if i blogged about my dress experience... did i? oh well! just in case... we went to David's Bridal & i got the BEST consultant!! she was so fun & bubbly :) anyways, we were looking at dresses & she showed me one that i just didnt really know if i liked... little did i know it was SPARKLY!! ahh! lol i also was DETERMINED to try on the Royal Wedding dress :) yes, Kate Middleton's dress. so i get it on... LOVED it. mama cried & i thought for sure it was it... then i put on the sparkly dres... & it was JUST as wonderful... i LOVED it.... well, i kept comparing every dress to the Kate dress & just wanted it back on.. put it on again & well... ehh. it was just too wintery for what my wedding is all about. so i wanted to put the sparkly one back on... when i did i just loved it so much... it was totally it. i cried, mama cried... it was an awesome experience :) :) i got my crown & im borrowing my sister's veil!! its all so wonderful!! lol if you watch say yes to the dress, you'll know who im talking about when i say the name Randy! well, there was a dress specialist there like Randy & he went on about how good it looked on me. i was thrilled cause i knew that he knew what he was talking about :) dress shopping was so fun!! i finally went & got it & put it on again :) :) *sigh* loverly lol anyways, things are going so much better since my last post! still need all those prayers for Cory Lynn & a good job! we really need this to happen! i just want him to have somthing with steady hours so he can provide.. im leaving my job in may sometime & i'll have to find something out there... not sure what yet. hopefully something will come up! im having a hard time deciding on whether or not to go back to school with the future hubby! EVERYONE (parents, in-laws, co-workers, church friends...etc.) is telling me i should. & i know that! i just dont have a desire to be there at all!! nor do i have something i wanna be!! (career wise i mean. i really just wanna be a housewife & someday a mommy!) idk.. i know that any of you that comment is going to tell me what i need to do is go to school... & trust me, i really am thinking hard about this! buuuut right now its a no.. maybe lol either way! ah! i also am excited to say that Cory Lynn & I will be honeymooning in.......... DISNEY WORLD!!!!!!!!! ahhhh!♥♥ totally his idea, btw! i mean, i wanted to at first... but he said no. so i changed my mind.... then a few months ago he just randomly tells me that he wants to go! at first i said no, but he talked me into it :) :) i am SO excited! then, if im not mistaken, 4th of July weekend we are going with his parents to Universal!! im so ready to do all of these awesome things with my hubby! its always been a dream! :D well, im done with my novel now :)

mega stressed today.
so since all i've posted recently has been surveys, i feel the need to post an actual blog. not to mention, i'm UBER stressed. i only got paid for a total of 18 hrs when i work 30 hr weeks. let's just say, Rae ain't so happy right now. i have things i need to save for!! i guess this is where good news for all of you follwers that didn't know comes in.. Cory Lynn & I have a house :) :) it's an older house close to where he lives now & we're completely demolishing the place & making it our own :) i just know it'll be super cute!! it looks horrid right now... lol but we're working on that! he's working with future pops every day & even sometimes at publix & going to school. i'm so proud of him! :) just hoping he can get a job that he really enjoys & has steadier pay than publix, so if you guys can, please send up a prayer for him! :) anyways, i've got my dress & wedding plans are coming together quite nicely :) :) we've got the planner, photographer & someone to make my cake all lined up :) so that makes me feel better! im having an AWFUL time picking out bridesmaids dresses!!!! its been a mega burden on me lately! we've resorted to making them. which we dont even know if that will work or not. my mother thinks she can just add on to her stress by trying to help make them... i always tell her not to cause she's already so upset about my leaving home that its not gonna help! for some reason i've really been struggling with that. i know im gonna be fine cause i know its where im supposed to be.. but i guess when reality hits me i can't hardly believe it. i've always lived at home with my mom & been there with her... she is for real my best friend!! so knowing im gonna be so far away for her permanently, is hard to grasp. i can't wait to get married! i really can't!! but i guess im just having a hard time... growing up! trust me, if you aren't engaged or haven't ever had to move off, & you sometime do... you'll understand! im stoked to be getting married & starting my new life with Cory Lynn :) :) just.. nervous about it cause ive never been THAT far away for... well, forever. lol anyways, other than all the stress from the pay thing... im doing okay lol just thought i'd vent for a little bit & put off working :)

"Marry me, today and every day"
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) :) :) :)
CORY & I ARE ENGAGED!!!! :) :) :) :)
i'm sure you've heard, but i thought id either confirm the rumor if you didnt think it was true, or at least tell you! Plus, Kendra told me I had to post the story on my blog lol & of course i had already thought of that!! anways, first of all, let me apologize to those of you whom i DIDNT text or let know. I was in such a state of shock & it was so early in the morning that I barely even knew how to add contacts so i could text!! lol im for real! no exaggerating! so i just typed in a bunch of names of people i knew! so, i am VERY sorry if you did not receive a text or phone call personally from me!! anyways! let me kinda explain a few things first.... originally, Cory was gonna ask me to marry him on our 1 year! (sweet, right?) well, his dad told him he thought it would be better if Cory waited till he was done completely with high school (glad he did wait now!) & that was gonna be in December! So Cory had to wait.
Friday night, (12-16-11) Cory Lynn came over for our family Christmas with my sister carri (ya know, the unofficially adopted one) & her husband & kids! so he was gonna stay the night at my house & i was going to Carri's cause we were gonna do our Christmas the next day :) well, Mason, my nephew, woke me up at 6!! so of course i texted Cory lol little did i know he was awake & getting everything ready! I honestly did not think it would be this weekend!! at all. i didnt think he had the ring.. nothing! well, the plan was for me to come back home around 8:30. well, i got ready (wearing a hoodie & cheetah swim skirt). When i was getting ready, i took my hair down.. & decided to just leave it that way, cause it wasnt TOO bad. Cory Lynn is VERY lucky, cause i could've put it up in a "crap bun" as he calls it lol anyways, i tell my little sister to get ready so we can head on over there a soon as possible (im always very pushy & anxious when he's there & im not, so i nag until she gets ready lol she wasn't bad this time though... wonder why -_-) well, she gets ready, i come outta the bathroom & its about 5 till 8:30 & i tell her to come on! She says, "mama says we can't come home because cory's in the shower or something..." of course that makes me slightly aggravated... i've been there more than once when he was in the shower! not like im gonna go in there... so of course i say, "uhh... why? we've been there when he was in the shower before!" her reply: "well, don't ask me, ask mom." -_- so instead of making a big deal, i just decided to play with the kids & wait. I realized that Cory was up & i had already called him more than once to try & wake him up so he'd be ready like me when i got there.. so, to see if he was "done getting ready" i called again. no answer. you can imagine the agitation i was starting to feel lol so FINALLY i decide that its okay for us to leave. well, on the way there.. things did start to kinda, well, add up a bit lol but SOMEONE decided to use his sinning advantages & tell me that "it is NOT this weekend, dont get your hopes up." "i dont even have your ring" -_- yeah. i know lol. so i threw that outta my mind because i didnt wanna get my hopes up at all! anyways, i get home & when i peeked in the garage thinking maybe... buuut of course not lol when i walk in the door, daddy was "washing dishes" (at 8 something in the morning? you'd think i'd notice these things, but i didnt lol) & says "well, what are you doin here so late?? i thought you'd be here a lot earlier!" & i mouthed off about mama not letting me come home. lol so here i am running my mouth when i look into our living room & ALL the lights are off :) (if you've ever been to my house, you know where im talking about & that my room is right off the living room!) the Christmas tree was, of course, all lit up... & there were candles & rose petals making a path to my bedroom door :) :) i looked up & saw Cory Lynn standing in the doorway smiling & i said, "What are you doing?!" (my mom was in the living room! & laughed... leave it to her lol) he smiled & i said "you're joking! you've got to be kidding me!!" & he said, "well, its a bit much for a joke, don't you think?" & i said, "yeah, kinda!!" he told me to come in my room where there were MORE candles & told me to sit down on my bed :) (or hop, in my case cause my bed is super tall lol) so i got on the edge of my bed & he got down on one knee :) :) :) :) he didn't spill his heart out, he just pulled out the prettiest, round, solitaire diamond ring & said, "Rachael LeeAnn, will you marry me?" :) :) :) :) & i replied with "Oh My Lord!!.... Oh my Lord, YES!!" :) :)
thinking about it gives me chills! i know some of you are like "Oh please!" but i really dont care! he did an amazing job! & i simply adore my ring! its all so hard to grasp! but it feels good to say that he is now my finace & not my "boyfriend" :) :)
unfortunately, they had to clean up the candles & such cause the wax was melting:( :( i had really wanted pics with my camera, but i've got some that were taken with a cell phone lol

(sweet, right?) well, his dad told him he thought it would be better if Cory waited till he was done completely with high school (glad he did wait now!) & that was gonna be in December! So Cory had to wait.
Friday night, (12-16-11) Cory Lynn came over for our family Christmas with my sister carri (ya know, the unofficially adopted one) & her husband & kids! so he was gonna stay the night at my house & i was going to Carri's cause we were gonna do our Christmas the next day :) well, Mason, my nephew, woke me up at 6!! so of course i texted Cory lol little did i know he was awake & getting everything ready! I honestly did not think it would be this weekend!! at all. i didnt think he had the ring.. nothing! well, the plan was for me to come back home around 8:30. well, i got ready (wearing a hoodie & cheetah swim skirt). When i was getting ready, i took my hair down.. & decided to just leave it that way, cause it wasnt TOO bad. Cory Lynn is VERY lucky, cause i could've put it up in a "crap bun" as he calls it lol anyways, i tell my little sister to get ready so we can head on over there a soon as possible (im always very pushy & anxious when he's there & im not, so i nag until she gets ready lol she wasn't bad this time though... wonder why -_-) well, she gets ready, i come outta the bathroom & its about 5 till 8:30 & i tell her to come on! She says, "mama says we can't come home because cory's in the shower or something..." of course that makes me slightly aggravated... i've been there more than once when he was in the shower! not like im gonna go in there... so of course i say, "uhh... why? we've been there when he was in the shower before!" her reply: "well, don't ask me, ask mom." -_- so instead of making a big deal, i just decided to play with the kids & wait. I realized that Cory was up & i had already called him more than once to try & wake him up so he'd be ready like me when i got there.. so, to see if he was "done getting ready" i called again. no answer. you can imagine the agitation i was starting to feel lol so FINALLY i decide that its okay for us to leave. well, on the way there.. things did start to kinda, well, add up a bit lol but SOMEONE decided to use his sinning advantages & tell me that "it is NOT this weekend, dont get your hopes up." "i dont even have your ring" -_- yeah. i know lol. so i threw that outta my mind because i didnt wanna get my hopes up at all! anyways, i get home & when i peeked in the garage thinking maybe... buuut of course not lol when i walk in the door, daddy was "washing dishes" (at 8 something in the morning? you'd think i'd notice these things, but i didnt lol) & says "well, what are you doin here so late?? i thought you'd be here a lot earlier!" & i mouthed off about mama not letting me come home. lol so here i am running my mouth when i look into our living room & ALL the lights are off :) (if you've ever been to my house, you know where im talking about & that my room is right off the living room!) the Christmas tree was, of course, all lit up... & there were candles & rose petals making a path to my bedroom door :) :) i looked up & saw Cory Lynn standing in the doorway smiling & i said, "What are you doing?!" (my mom was in the living room! & laughed... leave it to her lol) he smiled & i said "you're joking! you've got to be kidding me!!" & he said, "well, its a bit much for a joke, don't you think?" & i said, "yeah, kinda!!" he told me to come in my room where there were MORE candles & told me to sit down on my bed :) (or hop, in my case cause my bed is super tall lol) so i got on the edge of my bed & he got down on one knee :) :) :) :) he didn't spill his heart out, he just pulled out the prettiest, round, solitaire diamond ring & said, "Rachael LeeAnn, will you marry me?" :) :) :) :) & i replied with "Oh My Lord!!.... Oh my Lord, YES!!" :) :)
thinking about it gives me chills! i know some of you are like "Oh please!" but i really dont care! he did an amazing job! & i simply adore my ring! its all so hard to grasp! but it feels good to say that he is now my finace & not my "boyfriend" :) :)
unfortunately, they had to clean up the candles & such cause the wax was melting:( :( i had really wanted pics with my camera, but i've got some that were taken with a cell phone lol
